Courses - Short Courses

Short courses are those that can be completed in one day if desired.  They can also be delivered in 2 or 3 hour sessions and tailored to meet your requirements both for timings and content.

They range from 2 hour Save a Life courses, through 4 hour Basic Life Support courses to the favourite 6 hour Basic First Aid course.

Red Save a Life     +Orange=Basic Life Support     +Green=Basic First Aid

• Action at the scene of an emergency
• Care of the conscious casualty
• Care of the unconscious casualty
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation [CPR] for Adult, Child and Infant
• Heart conditions
• Choking
• Shock [including fainting]
• Control of bleeding
• Minor wounds
• Head Injuries
• Fractures
• Asthma

Please note that for groups not requiring Child and Infant CPR
seizures and strokes are included instead

On all short courses time permitting
                           - First Aid questions and concerns of the group

Successful candidates will receive an A4 display certificate.
