About Us
Staying
Alive trainers are friendly,
knowledgeable and supportive. All hold nationally recognised
qualifications and include qualified teachers and lecturers.
All have considerable "hands on experience" in First Aid - they have
not just read the book!
At
Staying Alive our aim is to
work with you to develop and maintain the skills and knowledge
needed when faced with a serious situation. But, above all, we
aim to build your confidence to cope. Trainers use a variety
of methods to reinforce learning and aid retention.
Staying
Alive are approved by Health
and Safety Executive for the delivery of First Aid at Work courses,
and by Hertfordshire County Council for providing Paediatric First
Aid Training Courses
Staying
Alive
specialises in
"in house" courses and can offer flexibility to suit your needs and
keep the cost down. Your course needs to take into account the
working environment. Let's face it, a school is not the same
as a building site, and your course needs to reflect that. It
is not always possible to release staff for whole days or
consecutive days so we work with you to find the most suitable
pattern for your course.
All too often we hear that people did
not want to come on a First Aid course because they have been put
off by a previous experience. That should not happen,
and most of our courses are repeat business filled with
candidates delighted that it is Staying
Alive back to train them
again.
First Aid can and should be fun.
At Staying Alive
we believe that if you enjoy what you
learn you are far more likely to retain the knowledge and use the
skills. Every candidate matters.
